You may notice people have been knocking on doors in the local neighbourhood recently.
These are members of your local neighbourhood team. They want to hear what you have to say about your home, your neighbourhood and your life.
They will be asking questions like:
What is the best thing about living here?
What has a negative effect on your quality of life?
Is there anything you would like to change about the area?
They are there to listen to what you have to say.
The whole team is made up of people from Community Renewal but also lots of different support services like the Department of Work and Pensions, Newcastle City Council or Your Homes Newcastle. So, if you need any kind of support we can go back to our team mates and get you all the right help.
There is no need to tell your story over and over again. Your dedicated team member will stick with you as long as it takes and will facilitate any support you identify.
